Q: How do I log back in to view/or make changes to my registration?
A: Click Here and enter your last name and email address, then click the “Log Back In” Button.
Q: Will class materials and/or handouts be available for all attendees, even if they were unable to sign up for a specific class?
A: That will be completely up to the individual teachers. Classes will be monitored at SUGAR 2012 to make sure that only those who have signed up for class are in attendence. At SUGAR Conference 2010, many individuals “crashed” some of the “sold out” classes, which resulted in over crowding and insuffient handouts for those who were signed up.
Q: Can my spouse/friend/child attend classes with me?
A: Only if they are registered for the full conference.
Q: Can my spouse/friend/child eat meals with me?
A: Only if you have purchased a meal package for that extra person. ($200.00)
Q: Can my spouse/friend/child attend the Statler Banquet with me?
A: You can purchase additional Statler Banquet tickets when you register. ($40.00)
Q: What is the student cancellation policy?
A: If you are unable to attend the Sugar Conference, your conference fees will be refunded per the following schedule:
- Cancellation prior to March 1, 2012: Refund 90%
- Cancellation prior to April 1, 2012: Refund 50%
- Cancellation prior to May 1, 2012: Refund 25%
- Cancellation May 1st and later: No Refund
Q: I’m diabetic. Can I be provided with diabetic-meals?
A: Yes….when you register, let us know that you’re diabetic.
Q: I’m a vegetarian. Can I be provided with vegetarian meals?
A: Yes…when you register, let us know that you’re a vegetarian.
Q: What is the difference between a class labeled Class #123 and a class labeled Class #123a? Does that mean the Class 123a is the continuation of Class #123?
A: No…that means that same class is offered at two separate time slots.
Q: English is not my primary language. Will there be interpreters available?
A: We might be able to help connect you with a translator, however, you will be completely responsible for the financial arrangements, not the SUGAR Conference or staff.
Q: Should I bring my laptop computer?
A: If any of the classes you sign up for list a laptop computer as a requirement, yes.
Q: What type of clothing should I pack?
A: Comfortable clothing. You’ll be sitting inside the hotel conference, which may be warm or it may be chilly, depending on the weather, and where in the room you sit. Layers work well.
